Qualification: Masters’ degree in Social Sciences with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) (Women’s Studies, Gender Studies, Human Development and Family Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Public Health and Nutrition, Education, Political Science, Economics, and allied fields) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

* As per UGC Circular number F. 2-2/2011 (SAP – II) dated December, 2011, if the candidate has worked for two years than the salary will be Rs. 16,000 p. m. from the third year (For non-NET candidates. For NET qualified candidate Rs. 16, 000 p. m. for initial two years and Rs. 18, 000p. m. from the third year onwards.
