Name of the Project :“Molecular and chemical ecology of multitrophic interactions involving plants, herbivores and their natural enemies”
Minimum educational Qualifications & Experience : PhD in any branch of life-sciences. Candidates, who have submitted their thesis but have not yet received their degrees, may also apply. Candidate must have at least two first author peer reviewed international publications from his/her PhD
Experience: 1. Basic plant molecular biology and biochemistry experimentation 2. Gene cloning, recombinant expression, purification of recombinant enzymes and enzyme assays cloning 3. Whole transcriptome shotgun sequencing (next-generation sequencing) data analysis 4. Agrobacterium-mediated plant transformation 5. Metabolomics using GCMS and LC-MS or LC Q-Orbitrap HRMS. 6. Statistical analyses like ANOVA, correlation, PCO, PCA etc. Preference Expertise in plant tissue culture. Experience of insect rearing, dissection and bioassays.
Pay Scale : Rs. 36000/- + 30%HRA for candidates who have awarded PhD degree and based on number of years of experience. Rs 28000/- + 30%HRA for candidates who have submitted their thesis but have not received their degree.
Age : Not more than 35 years
