Research Associate Biological Sciences/Project Assistant recruitment in ACTREC On contract Basis
Title of the Project: Multidisciplinary approach to evaluate the pathogenicity of missense mutations causing hereditary breast cancer.
Research Associate/2 Posts (RA1, RA2)
Essential Qualifications and Experience: PhD in Biological Sciences from recognized University/Institutions
Desirable experience for RA 1: Demonstrated experience in the area of transcriptomics. Proven record of productivity as demonstrated by at least one first author publication in peer reviewed journal. Expertise with qRT-PCR, Western Blotting, Immunohisto chemistry and microscopy will be preferred.
Desirable experience for RA 2: Demonstrated experience in the area of gene cloning, protein purification, crystallization and structure determination.
**The work progress of the candidate will be monitored and extension after 6 months will depend on satisfactory progress of the work.
Project Assistant/1 Post
Qualification : *M. Sc. (1st class) in Life sciences, NET/GATE/BET/BINC qualified will be given preference. Desirable experience: Experience in the area of gene cloning, protein purification and Bioinformatics. *One year M.Sc. degree course will not be considered.
Consolidated Salary: For S. No. 1 :Rs. 38000,For S. No. 2 :Rs. 27000.
